VULCAN. Last of the V-bombers.
The last in the long line of classic Avro bombers, the delta-winged Vulcan served for nearly three decades as the backbone of the RAF's nuclear and conventional strike force. Blooded over the Falkland Islands in 1982, the Vulcan ended its carrer as part of Strike Command's tanker fleet.
